# MAPARTE

MAPARTE is a browser-based editor for designing custom map posters and wallpapers. Visitors can search for a place or coordinates, adjust the map view, choose themes and layouts, style borders and text, add markers, and upload GPX tracks. An optional room preview helps compare available wall and frame treatments. The Download panel lists the export formats and output settings currently available.

## Location and map data

Interactive map tiles are provided by OpenFreeMap using OpenStreetMap-based data and rendered with MapLibre GL. Location search and reverse geocoding use OpenStreetMap's Nominatim service. Search requests and map tile requests are sent to these external services when those features are used. Device location is requested only after the visitor selects the location control.
